We wanted to send you all a personal message from AQ to address rumors involving Knee Deep Brewing and AQ. We have worked closely with Knee Deep for more than 10 years, and we know for many of you they were your favorite AQ brand, and their IPAs were many of your favorites as well. They were ours, too.

Unfortunately, brewing is a very difficult and complicated business. It is an art form as well, but at the end of the day it is a business, too, and many times businesses change as time goes on. You may have noticed that since last year we have not stocked the usual number of Knee Deep products. In full disclosure we had some issues with quality, which we worked hard together with Knee Deep to solve.

 I feel we both tried our best to solve the issues and move forward, but unfortunately our ideas and solutions did not line up. We did our best, but in the end we realized it was best for both of us to move on. We thank you all for supporting Knee Deep over the many years and beers, and we really appreciate the love you showed for them. We are still good friends with everyone at Knee Deep and have nothing but respect and love for them. We wish them the best in moving forward. As for AQ, we will continue to find and import the highest quality craft beers in America and beyond to supply all of you, our valued customers. Thanks for your continued support and love of quality craft beer!

いつも大変お世話になっております。
本日は、Knee Deep Brewingと弊社AQ Bevolutionの関係について気にかけてくださる多くの皆さまに、直接実情をお伝えさせていただきたく存じます。

私たちはこの10年に渡る長い期間、Knee Deepとの関係性を深めて参りました。Knee Deepは大変多くの皆さまにご贔屓いただいたAQブランドの一つであり、彼らの数々のIPAもまたお気に召していただけたのではないかと存じます。もちろん私たちも同様でした。

生憎、ブリューイングは大変に難しく複雑なビジネスです。それでいてアートの様でもありますが、結局はビジネスでもあり、そして多くの場合ビジネスは時間の経過とともに変化します。
既にお気づきかと存じますが、昨年から弊社のKnee Deepの在庫が通常より持ち合わせておりませんでした。正直に打ち明けますと、ビールの品質に何らかの問題があることに気付き、その解決に向けてKnee Deepと共に尽力しておりました。
前に進むために両者努力しましたが、大変残念ながら考え方と解決策が同じ方向に向かず、この度Knee Deepとの輸入契約を終了することといたしました。

長年に渡りKnee Deepと彼らのビールをサポートしてくださった皆さま、そして彼らに見せてくださった愛に心から感謝申し上げます。また、Knee Deepの全てのチームと今も良き友達でありますし、彼らへは尊敬と愛しかありません。今後も彼らの繁栄を願っております。
