We know that Jamil from Heretic loves all styles of beers, from Hoppy IPAs (Evil Cousin) to delicate Belgians (Tafelbully). This beer shows off the sour side of Heretic. It is an American take on the traditional Berliner Weisse style from Germany, which started in the 16th century and was very popular in the 1800s. At one time there were 50 breweries in Berlin making Berliner Weisse! Tartuffe is produced with tons of wheat malt, fermented over several days at low temperatures. Chris the head brewer loves this style-tart, refreshing, sessionable, and very light on it’s feet. Prost!
