DevilCraftGotanda!
DevilCraft is kicking ass! After opening their brewery last year and winning a gold medal at the World Beer Cup with their first entry, now their third shop is here!
DevilCraft Gotanda opens today!!! This time it is right in front of Gotanda station with an awesome 9th floor location with cool city views. There is no beer bar like this in Tokyo. Come and check it out! Congratulations to team DC!
AQ Europe Debut!
Hello everybody in beerland! This is Albert from AQ here to announce some big news: our newest project AQ Europe is born!!!
What`s that? AQ Bevolution, the ones who are stirring up an American craft beer revolution in Japan are now importing beer from Europe? What`s up with that?
The truth is that our fearless leader, yours truly, is actually a European! Both my parents are Hungarian, and I grew up in a culturally European household. My mother`s love of European beer was passed on at an early age, and by the time craft beer appeared in California I was already used to beer with color and flavor.
I have long wanted a connection with my parents` homeland, and now I have made that dream a reality.
As for the beer, AQ has long believed in breaking down the barriers between beer styles. We love all good beer, and have done many joint events with brewers and importers from all over the world. The European beer we have chosen is purposefully very different from our American beer; it is utterly unique artisanal beer that could only have been crafted by each of our brewers in their home country. Most importantly, we think the beers from AQ Europe are uniquely delicious and we are proud to introduce them to our customers and fans in Japan. Please try them, and I think you will soon realize why we chose to import them.

【AQベボリューション2016始動！】
旧年中は多くの皆様にご愛顧賜りありがとうございました。
特に6月に開催したAmerican Craft Beer Experienceは印象に残る素晴らしいアメリカンクラフトビールの祭典となりました。
また、Tokyo Beer Weekや各種イベントにおいても多くの方とビールの楽しさや素晴らしさを共有できたと思っています。
本年も、最高に美味しいクラフトビールをお届けしてまいります。
申年?にちなんで、Left Hand Brewingnの400パウンドモンキーＩＰＡをご紹介します。
「400パウンドモンキー」はアーシーでハーバルなアロマとフレーバーが特徴のEnglish Style-IPA。
ボーディシアやソブリンをはじめとするイングリッシュホップと４種のモルトを使用。Left Handならではの個性豊かな味わいがあります。
スパイシーな料理とも相性抜群。

GABF現地レポート！(ブルワリー編①)

Great American Beer Festival開催中のコロラドより現地情報をお届けします！
期間中はデンバー中で様々なイベントも開催され、街はビール一色に！
今回は訪問したブルワリーを写真で紹介したいと思います。
まずはエピックブリューイング！２０１３年にオープンしたセカンドブルワリーを見学しました。オーナーのデイヴさん、ヘッドブルワーのケビンさんとも再会し近況を報告。タンクからあんなビールやこんなビールを飲ませてもらい大満足…オーナーのデイヴさんは近々また日本に来てくれるとか！？
次はレフトハンドブリューイングへ！
パイロットシステムの増設や将来のブルワリープランを聞き、ますます今後が楽しみになりました！現地で飲むナイトロも格別です、ウマい！
最後はエイブリーブリューイング、今年の初めにオープンしたニューブルワリーに訪問！新設備で作られるフレッシュビールにMr. AQも御満悦。
次はイベント編をアップ予定！
帰国までデンバーを満喫してきます。

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our anniversary party a special occasion. We have somehow survived the beer wars for 3 years, and you all helped us celebrate in style. We appreciate everyone who came out to join us, and the many who unfortunately couldn`t attend but sent us kind greetings. We love you all and hope to keep the beer flowing for many years to come, and keep on Kanpai-ing with all of you!
Also a special thanks to DevilCraft and AQ staff for working hard on the lovely chalkboard art, menus, great beer lineup, and delicious special pizza and gyouza, and the countless other tasks needed to make the party a success.
A good time was had by one and all thanks to you!
