Rockstar farmer is a session IPA brewed with saison yeast and brettanomyces. If it sounds like a colloboration that’s because it is. The Other Half brewery is famous for their IPAs, and Stillwater for their saisons and brett beers. The Other Half is in Brooklyn, which is where Brian from Stillwater lives. This 4.5% refreshing sour IPA is the brewers rendition of Brian’s life in Brooklyn in liquid form.

Brian from Stillwater is a former DJ and his love of many kinds of music is well known. I Miss the Old Kanye is a song from Kanye West’s new album, but it also sums up Brian’s feelings towards Kanye. Kanye is a complicated artist, so Brian made a complicated beer in his image. On top of that, he used ingredients to approximate the essence of Dr. Pepper, Kanye’s favorite old school soda pop. To add to the fun, the ingredients are a mystery, just like the man. The result is an imperial porter that tastes like no other: dark, complex, spicy, fruity, herbal, and an aroma of Dr. Pepper.
