【　Avery Brewing 輸入販売終了のお知らせ　】

AQ Bevolution is sorry to announce that we will no longer be importing beer from Avery Brewing Company. It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. Avery has been one of our favorite breweries, and their IPA was one of my original go to IPAs. Ellie`s brown was the last of the great brown ales before that style completely fell out of favor, and of course Lilikoi Kepolo was one of our most popular beers. We are really sorry for all of the fans of Lilikoi!!

Unfortunately times change and all things must come to an end, whether good or bad. You may have seen the announcement that Avery sold 100% of their brewery to Mahou San Miguel, one of the world`s biggest beer conglomerates. We could still import them if we choose to do so, but many of our good friends who used to work there have quit, and more importantly it is AQ Bevolution`s policy to only import beers from independent breweries not affiliated with the world`s big beer and alcohol conglomerates. We do thank Avery Brewing for the many good beers over the years, and we also thank the kind people who worked there and took good care of us.

We really feel that the big beer and alcohol conglomerates have a negative effect on the craft beer world, and so we cannot work with any breweries owned by them. Italy`s Birra del Borgo was one of my favorite breweries, but when they were bought by AB Inbev we cut ties with them immediately. While the brewery may continue to make good beer, the profits are going to a huge corporation that engages in practices that limit craft beer quality and craft beer choices for the consumer. If we do not support independent breweries there could be a time in the not-too-distant future when we find the same beers on tap wherever we go. This is already happening in America and in many parts of the world. While we may always be able to drink local beer in our home areas, we want to live in a beer world where you can have a choice of many different breweries in bars, restaurants, stadiums, airports, and wherever craft beer is sold!

Averyはお気に入りのブルワリーの1つで、AVERY IPAは良く飲むIPAの1つでした。エリズブラウンはアメリカの伝説的なブラウンエールでしたし、もちろんリリコイケポロは大変人気のあるビールでした。リリコイファンの皆さん、本当に申し訳ありません！！私たちは、Averyが多くの美味しいビールを造ってくれたことそしてこれまで対応してくれたことに感謝しています。

不本意ながらも時代は変わり、良いこと悪いこと全てに関して終わりは訪れるものです。ご存知の方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、AveryはMahou San Miguelに彼らのブルワリーを100％売ってしまいました。私たちはまだ輸入を続けることもできますが、Averyで働いていた良き友達の多くが辞めました。更に需要なことは、AQベボリューションのポリシーは世界的ビールアルコール飲料の大手企業組織とは提携していないインディペンデント（独立した）ブルワリーのみ輸入するということです。

私たちの考えでは世界的ビールアルコール飲料の大手企業組織はクラフトビール業界にネガティヴな影響の側面があり、彼らに所有されているブルワリーと協力することができません。以前輸入を始めようとしていたイタリアのビッラデルボルゴもAB Inbevに買収され、弊社は直ちに輸入提携を切りました。彼らは良いビールを作っているかもしれませんがその売上は大手企業組織の元へ流れ、消費者からクラフトビールの品質とクラフトビールの選択を制限し、実際にそうなりつつあります。もし私たちがインディペンデントなブルワリーをサポートしなければ、それほど遠くない未来、どこへ行っても同じ”クラフト”ビールがタップに並ぶ時代となってしまうのです。これは冗談ではなく、既にアメリカと世界の多くの部分で起きている事象です。自分たちのホームやその地域に居る間はローカルのビールが手に入るかもしれませんが、バーやレストラン、スタジアム、空港、、どこへ行っても個性豊かなブルワリーの様々なクラフトビールが並ぶ世界に住みたいと思いませんか！！
