This is the beer that started it all for Knee Deep. It was released in 2011, at the height of the IPA craze, and still managed to stand out from the pack. We did a blind tasting with 10 of the most famous west coast IPAs, and threw Hoptologist in as a ringer. It was the unanimous champion, which is as surprising as it was impressive. It is a hop fiesta in a bottle, with tons of fruity, piny, dank flavors, and a full orange-red body. This a proper double IPA, big, bold, and beautiful.
